We love this park. It is located right in town. The age range is I would say up to 7. Perfect for toddlers. Fenced in. Lots to do with shaded areas. there are also alot of local playdates that meet there as well. The address is: 309 Credle St, Pittsboro, NC 27312
I love this Park because every time we go we find a new feature. they have a huge sandbox area with push rides, a huge soccer field, hiking trails, a hidden swing and see saw adventure, a picnic area, and lots more. Its awesome too because they have a paved circle around everything so you can walk with the kids and they can walk, scooter, or ride a bike right there with you. This park is set right at the lake at Seaforth. There is a nice play set, tire swings, a big sand area, and if you want to go swimming the lake is right there. The address is: Seaforth beach rd, Pittsboro, NC 27312
Knight Farm Community Park is located in the new Chatham Park Address: 362 Vine Parkway, PIttsboro.
The park is lots of fun and has a lot of different areas to play. They have little play houses, climbing areas(perfect for don't touch the ground tag), Swings, a zip line, an awesome build area with teepee like building sticks. slides, Covered picnic tables, and the highlight(well...in the warmer months)...the splash pad. Sooo much fun :) . It is right in town too which we love. :)
The Park at Briar Chapel Is a new park near Briar Chapel. The address is 1015 Andrews Store Rd, Pittsboro, NC 27312. They have playground areas, sports fields, bathroom areas, and covered picnic table areas.
NorthEast District Park is another Favorite. Located at 5408 Big Woods Rd, Chapel Hill. They have sports fields, Tennis courts, a playground, a paved walking trail that is set around a cute little pond (we found turtles over there last visit), and a bathroom area. My kids love running bases at the baseball field and finding honeysuckles. :)
Rock Ridge is super cool. There is a really nice Disc Golf course trail and a super fun park. We ended up doing 9 baskets of Disc Golf and that took us right near the park. The Address is: 1397 Old Sanford Rd, Moncure, NC 2755
